I doubt he did prison time, he was probably fined and may have done some jail time.
His still would of looked something like these that were confiscated in the 1930's in Texas.

I feel the Government wasn't very smart during this whole fiasco. It cost the country more money and filled more prisons than any other time in our history. They should of just raised the taxes and made more money.
