1915 New Mexico
Bismarck died 18 Jan 1981 in Pend Oreille, WA.
I love his name, as I am from Bismarck, ND my hometown, loved it and miss it and will return someday. I was there for 39 years.
Bismarck seemed to have had a moment of weakness thinking he could get away with stealing money orders and cashing them. His wife had their daughter Sarah 11 Jun 1919 and then they had another child after his release. He must of been a good man that just mad a bad decision and once he wrote out one check it was even easier to write out the second and so on.
Bismark was my grandfather. How fun to see the information you have gathered. The 1950 article "Lubbock County Man Returns" is about my uncle B.H.Turner Jr. and not my grandfather. The rest of the article is sound.
