His wife was Verna Phipps BIRTH NOV 1889 • Decatur, Macon, Illinois, USA DEATH 27 JAN 1909 • Sacramento, California, USA. They had married 4 Jul 1908 • Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Floyd & Verna lived at 523 L Street, this is where he killed her. Kinda sad there are no houses there anymore.

The newspaper mention they lived in a concentration camp, I tried to google that and I couldn't find anything other than WWII camps they made for the Japaneses Americans. It would be interesting to know what that was about, I will assume it was probably a mining community, as Sacramento and Newcastle is 30 minutes from there that was a mining town, I have family there.
