I found additional newspaper articles, She was called Jean and she was arrested with a man named Charles Hunsaker.

She married Charles later on and they had children together. I am wondering if they didn't set George up. Just a theory that hit me after reading all these articles then finding a census records for her and Charles being married.

Here are some more newspaper articles:

Charles Ivan Hunsaker

They had 7 children together. Was there something going on between these two before George was arrested?

George died in Folsom Prison 7 Oct 1933 and is buried in the prison cemetery, he was 53 years old.

Here's his Find A Grave Memorial.
