George was taken back to Folsom Prison and one morning he didn't show up for breakfast roll call. They checked his cell and found him hanging by his belt.
He killed himself 31 Oct 1933, Halloween. He is buried in the Folsom Cemetery.

Sad ending for him, I wonder what the reporter that wrote the article about the parole board thought about his suicide.
