Florin Gerard Lee was born 26 Feb 1885 in Boonsboro, IA to Howard Lenard Lee (1864-1942) & Grace Croy (1960-1902).
Florin was a bookkeeper for Frankenheimer & Lighter a dry goods house in Riverside, CA.
Florin was at a church function and was leaving to go to his grandmother's house where he was residing, he never arrived.

Seems he board a train and went to Los Angeles and started a new life as he had no memory of his old one. He was found working as an elevator operator. A young lady who knew him saw him and he had no idea who she was and she alerted the authorities.
By April when he is back home then goes to his old job he members everything.
The doctor calls it self-hypnotism, but could of it of been a nervous breakdown? Florin said he had been working hard, plus he was going to school to be an engineer.
Depression can lead to short term memory loss.
While researching, I found Carl Gustav Jung a psychiatrist video, I thought was interesting. He was very well renown and published back in his time. May not be right on target here but he was interesting.
Florin lived until 1965 he never married.
